The company
We, as a company, trace our origins back to the year 1877, when a groundbreaking technique emerged in the realm of religious imagery within the enchanting city of Olot, situated near the French border, surrounded by a captivating beech forest. It is within this natural haven that our factory stands, committed to the pursuit of the most authentic realism.
In those early days, the skilled sculptors of Olot embarked on journeys to Paris, seeking to absorb the artistic activities and techniques honed by various visionaries residing in the Parisian quarter of Saint Sulpice.
The flourishing artistic tradition in Olot found unwavering support from the esteemed “Escola de Belles Arts d'Olot”. This venerable Art School, established in the 18th century when the city boasted a modest population of only 7,000 residents, served as the epicenter of applied arts.
Olot became the main center for students with outstanding skills in drawing and sculpture during a period marked by economic prosperity that favored the bourgeoisie, who became the driving force behind the cultural romantic revivalist movement named Renaixenca.
Beyond religious beliefs, taking advantage of the professional and artistic atmosphere, we created Atrezzo in 1978, consolidating our leading position in the world of mannequins since 1991.
With a robust and professional foundation, we embrace innovation using cutting-edge techniques and environmentally friendly materials of the latest generation. The results are nothing short of exceptional. Born in the early 90s through the visionary Teijeiro and Guell families, Atrezzo has burgeoned into a brand of repute, its growth marked by a gradual, solid, and sustainable expansion.
Our state of the art factory covers an area of 12,000 square meters and includes a team of more than 150 workers: artistic directors, trend hunters, stylists, makeup artists, and sculptors licensed in the School of Fine Arts, as well as direct descendants of those pioneer sculptors.
